The Wild Den

The Wild Den


This is the Main Den, where the Alpha's can hold meetings to arrange problems amongst them. The den is made from large rocks that pile around it having an entrance for Alphas & Betas to enter freely along with some members that can make their own dens inside, it is very spacious inside and fitting.
The surroundings of the den consist of green lush forest and jade grass that will definitely gain the feeling of relaxation and peace, there are also patches of herbs and flowers scattered amongst the area that will provide healers to be able to attend to the wounded.
The weather in the area is often perfect having the sun warming the earth and few clouds to provide shade including cool breezes.

In the pack's territory is a large field filled with long green grass and clovers that is often grazed by migrating herds of Elk or Bison, this also helps the pack to gain free access to easy meals.
The water source for the pack is close by which is a fairly large pool of water which runs toward the field and near the den, smaller streams can be often found flowing in different directions providing other critters their water source.

I sat up opening my eyes looking over to see Crossfire and Silver, I then stretched my muscles and trotted over to the Magic River getting a cool refreshing drink.

I get up and trot into the nearest forest

gently tugs on his ear then runs round in a circle and bows playfully again
"cant get me"

I sat by the edge looking at the water's reflection seeing myself, I sighed and swished my tail listening to the water flow.

I find a quite spot as I lay down and close my eyes

rolls over and gently bites his ear and tugs at it
then laughs his eyes soften and look filled with life
i start wagging my tail and pull my paw out his mouth running a distant stopping then running again before suddenly running at him and tackling him laughing and then bites his paw

gets up and moves round now biting on his tail as well
as we stand there i laugh but then grab his tail again

I spot a grey figure approach from the other side of the river to get a drink, I growled and my fur bristled the wolf barely seemed to notice until I moved allowing it to catch my movements. It seemed startled and afraid as it quickly carried it's smaller body running away from the river, I huffed a sigh as I raised my tail slightly and made my way back to the den area.

Sirius takes a nap under a shaded tree

growls back playfully then says "duties await and i must hunt i have been longer to stretch my legs, i will play with you later"

Sirius continues to sleep as he growled silently in her sleep yet she calmed down now feeling relaxed and was having a good dream.

as he reached the hunting grounds, spots the weakest cow and sneaks staying down wind so they cant smell me but suddenly the wind changes and there eyes open wide and they run, sprinting after them i catch the slowest and jumps onto its back makes my way to its neck and grabs the side quickly pulling it and breaking the neck, as he lands with a thud quickly rolls and then drags the elk to the den using all his strength as he reaches it, howls saying there is food

On my way back to the den I heard the howl and came in sight seeing a fresh kill I approach and nodded "Nicely done." I said then helped myself to the elk tearing at the elk's stomach to get the good organs.

"thanks" takes a strip of meat from the back and eats it slowly

Sirius continue to sleep for she wasn't hungry and she didn't feel all so that well

goes into the den and curls up closing his icy eyes and drifts off to sleep

After my share I felt full and trotted over to a place to lay down, licking the blood off and relaxing.
