The Wild Den

" Yes " I say agreeing with what Silver said. " Fire... I'm pregnant, and I have been for a while. I am thinking only about a week to go "

*mouth drops and Fire faints*

I see her faint and I lick her muzzle, trying to wake her up again. " Oh boy... "

he rushes up to fire and gently nudge her with my paw "wake up fire" he looks at sk8ter then back to fire

*breathes heavily but wont move*

he nudges her a little harder "wakey up" looking to sk8ter, his face worried "is she gonna be ok?" he looks back to her

I nudge her and see she still doesn't wake up. I smile as I get a plan that might work. I put my head down and bite her tail, but not too hard. " FIRE!! " I scream in her ear.

I yelp and pounce onto her and bite her neck playfully, I lay on her but not too hard, I dont want to hurt the pups.

he chuckles when they start playing, although he stays out of it and sits down just outside the den, "i will go get some stuff" he pads off the get some comfy bedding for the birthing den

I yelp as she pushes me to the ground. " Ow!! " I say and look at my belly. " Ow... " I stay laying on the ground, hoping the pain will go away.

he rushes back quickly and sniffs her, "you ok?" he licks her dail then her belly

I yelp getting up, "oh my gosh.. Im sooo sorry!" I start to cry, and I run away into the bushes, I cry my eyes out, as I howl, "IM SORRY!!!!!"

" No " I whine as I shut my eyes and breathe heavily. I slightly open my eyes and stare at Fire, then look at Silver.

he lays beside sk8ter and licks her muzzle "its going be ok" he says almost wining, he looks over to the bush that fire was in and howls "it was an accident, you didnt mean it" he looks back to sk8ter and licks her muzzle again

I lay there quietly as I try not to let the pain bother me too much. I hear Fire's howl " It's ok i know you didn't mean it. Silver will this harm the pups? I hope not " I say as tears slowly roll down my cheek. I sigh as the cold night wind blows and makes me shiver.

I whimper, "but its my fault..." I whimper as I hide in a hole.

he wipes her tears away "of course not" he ressured her, although his tone was high pitched and nervous, "we should get you inside, can you get up?" he asked unsure if it was a stupid queston or not

I try to get up and yelp from the pain. " It hurts to get up. " I whimper and lick Silver's muzzle, " I love you, no matter what happens "

"i love you as well" he then puts his paw on her "whatever happens" licks her muzzle and curls around her gently

I growl at myself, "NO WONDER RAIKOU HASNT TALKED ABOUT HAVING PUPS WITH ME! HE DOESNT WANT THEM TO SUFFER!" I cry loudly and crawl out of the hole. I whimper as I run to the river and dive in, I swim to the little cave and lay in it as I think about what I must have done to Sk8.

he perks his auds hearing this but doesnt answer as she had already dissapired into the lake, he licks her muzzle again, he shivers as the cool breeze touches him and keeps her warm

" Thanks for keeping me warm. I might be able to get up now, the pain is slightly better. I think I need some herbs, to stop the pain and help me get to sleep. " I lift my head up.

he lifts his head then shuffles away and sits down just away from her "what herbs will you need?" he scratches his ear then licks her maw

" Um... Oh I can't remember what they're called. Darn... I don't know, I guess I will live anyway. Help me get up? "

I come out feeling better and I go to Sk8 and Silver, "sorry about before, I was in shock.." I explain, sitting down.
