The Wild Den

I watch as Sk8ter scratches her ear and jumps down to sit next to where i lay. She asks me if I want to go hunting for some fish or hares. I tell her "okay... how far is it?" I realise how hungry i am, as i havent eaten anything exept for a small lizard and some bugs. "yeah, i am really hungry." I get up off the ground when sk8ter starts to stretch, and notice how dirty my white coat was. I look around the trees surrounding me. sk8ter notices and tells me the area that we will hunt in.

" Well " I point my muzzle in the direction of the Magic River. " Fish are that way, in the Magic River. Just through some of those trees. It's a lovely river. Good for swimming and relaxing too. And for the hares, well they are hopping around all over the place. " I stretch my muscles, getting ready to get some food for my hungry belly.

She tells me where the fish and hares are. " what are we waiting for? lets go" i am eager to get some food, so i decide that later i will try to introduce myself to more of the wolves.

" Well, I'll show you the river, and we can get some salmon and stuff. " I stand up and start walking in the direction of the Magic River, with Icer close behind me.

Sk8ter decides to take me to the magic river to get salmon and stuff and i follow her as she got up. i looked around me to see the pack that i had just joined. i was very happy as i followed her to the river.

I arrive at the Magic River. I turn around and make sure Icer isn't lost. I face the water, and look down, to see a few fish swimming. " Do you want me to get you one, or will you get it? " I ask her. I don't wait for a reply, and I bend down further, and dive into the fast flowing river. I swim down further, towards the bottom. I see a few rocks, and I swim to the left, trying to avoid them. I kick my back legs, but my back right foot scratches against a sharp rock, and I yelp. I turn around as I see blood coming from my food, and I swim up to the surface with difficulty, but manage to get my head above water. I take a gulp of air, and put my front two paws on the edge of the river. I look over to Icer, and bark at her to help me out.

I see sk8ter dive in for a fish. she wasunder the water for about half a minute when she struggled to the top. she put her front paws on the riverbank and barked for help. not knowing what to do, i rush to the river bank. as i ran, i saw a small fallen branch and i grab the end with my mouth. i turn it around when i get to Sk8ter and drop it, telling her to bite the end when i picked it back up in my mouth and pulled at it, trying to drag Sk8ter onto the bank. she was to big for me.

I use my good back paw, to try and help get out. I get out of the water further, then I see a stick being waved in front of my face. I grab onto it, not sure it will do much good. I use my front paws to push myself up some more, then I am finally able to get my back paws on the ground. I stand up, and start to pant. I limp through the trees, to the main area of the territory. I sit down and examine my foot. " Oww... It looks like a deep cut. " I mutter to myself, quietly. I stick my foot out and lay down, waiting until Satinka finds me, and helps.

I follow after the limping sk8ter, unsure of what to do. when we get to the main area of the territory, i heard Sk8ter mummble to herself. she stuck her injured foot out as she lay down. i walked around till i faced the front of her and i asked her, a bit unsure if there was anything i could do.

Growls quietly as shakes coat then sits back down. Sees the butterfly circling around before landing on nose again, mutters to self raising paw getting ready to swat it but misses as it flys off again. Clamps jaws biting the air as trys to get it so it would stop bugging but eventually gives up and trots towards the river. Dipd head lowering muzzle to the water and drinks but notices drops of blood leading fromthe river to the den. Notices skater laying with her paw bleeding and eyes widen a little rushing over. Sees another wolf and tilts head for a moment quickly greeting her with a wag of the tail beofre turning to sk8 "what happen? do you need anything?" tail swishes looking at the other wolf wondering if she knew what to do

i notice another wolf rushing over. She looks only a little bit older then me, about two years old. She quiqely wags her tail. She tlked to Sk8ter while i sat ther looking from one to another. i didnt know what to do, and i hoped the brown wolf didnt suspect me of hurting Sk8ter. She looked at me stangely. All she saw was a scared yearling though. I looked at Sk8ters paw. I could not see the wound, it was bleeding to much for that.

Ears perk hearing another wolf coming, looks over seeing a black and white wolf walk over silently and look over. Gets up as ears fall back again walking over "Are you the new healer by any chance?"

Wags tail a little and turns to Sk8 then back at Satinka "I dont know I think she must have steped on asharp rock or somthing that would looks pretty deep..." ears fall back again and looks at Satinka hoping she could know what to do.

Puts paw to forehead and nods rushing over to the river. Looks around for something to carry the water in the finds an old rock that is bowlish like and carries some water back to Satinka and Sk8. Puts it down beside her and sits back watching and in case she needs anything else.

Wags tail seeing how she cured sk8, turns facing her and smiles cheerfully "No problemo. I'm Song by the way, sorry I didnt have a good chance to introduce meself." giggles feeling puppyish.

" I was going to catch some fish, when my paw got cut on a really sharp rock. " I reply to Fang.

I opened my eyes slowly as I layed motionless and shifted my silver orbs around to inspect what was in sight, only to be in the same spot finding myself to have fallen asleep. Lifting my weight to be standing I gave a quiet snort and followed the scent towards the river where I came to the bank lowering my head so my tongue lapped at the refreshing water, spotting a figure in the corner of my eye I paused glancing towards it. It appeared to be a white and black female resting amongst herself, I also sensed The Alpha nearby and the scent of drying blood, finishing up my drink I wanted to get a closer look at what had happened, as Sk8ter came into view I also spotted another male talking with her who showed concern as she seemed to be in good condition. Accepting that I sat down under a dead tree shifting my eyes at the other wolves while I thought of keeping guard sometime soon.

what i thought was the alpha male came in and went to Sk8ter. I felt out of place as i looked, not as scared as before, and decided to go. i turned from the three wolves and started to head away. i turned to get a last look at Sk8ter

I notice Icer walking off. " Don't walk too far " I call out. I look at Fang and lick his muzzle. I smile as I stand up. I look down at my back paw again. " It's just a cut.. with a lot of blood. " I walk into the Wild Den, and curl up with the pups. I close my eyes, and fall asleep.
