"Winter...but just before, Curse said it was spring? Didnt he?" I asked, confused. A snowflake landed on my tongue, and I ate it without oticing "Woah..that feels dry!" I said, slightly baffled. "It feels wet but its dry at taste...interesting" I murmured, pawing at a second snow flake that was circling my head

"Eh, your cute all the time" I said, smiling a toothy grin. I saw a large pile of snow just by the river, and, before thinking, I ran forwards and jumped in, shouting "COWABUNGA!!!" and then snow...went...everywhere

I giggle and run after him as he plays in the snow. 'thats mah boy' I think to myself, with another giggle. I sit there, watching.

I land upsidedown, looking up at Fire. We were underneath a tree, and at that moment, some snow slipped off the branch above us and fell onto my nose.
I blinked in surprise, and prodded it with my huge white paw

I smile and lick his nose, warming it up. I smile and nuzzle him, my paw under his.

I lick Fires paw, and cuddles her, wrapping my tail around hers "You feel better now?" I whispered in her ear

My jaw drops as I am hit with snow, "hey!!!" I growl playfully and kick up the snow as I run after him. I do a sharp turn but end up slipping into the freezing cold water. I yelp and I land in the lake and try to swim out, but my body starts to shut down, to protect my vital organs.

I stopped laughing, and ran over to Fire. "FIRE! GRAB MY PAW!" I yelped, reaching out to her. The ice underneath me was beginning to crack, so I knew we didnt have much longer

I tried to grab his paw and just got it. I cant move much at all so I cant help but wait to be pulled up.

I swirved my head in panic as Fire's yelp echoes over the valley i ran to where it was coming from seeing she had fallen into the icy cold plunge of the river

i barked at Halo i grabbed his tail and starting pulling him so he pulled fire at the same time

the snow slipping under my paws i began to lose grip at that point i strained my muscles and pulled as hard as i ever had before

As I hear fire's yelp I run after curse but I slip on the snow and fall over, I try to get up and fall over again,noticing that I hurt my paw , I struggle and finally manage to get up . I try to ignore the pain in my paw and run, limping a bit, to help the others.

I whimper as the others are in pain, trying to save me. I decide that they shouldnt have to go through this. "g-g-guys s-s-s-step b-back" I say, grabbing onto Halos shoulders. They step back and I pull myself to the solid ice.

Shaking violently as my body starts to fill with blood again. "thank-y-you!" I try to bark as the cold wind blows past, 'not helping.' I think to myself.

I flatten my ears and try to drag myself to the den, slipping over multiple times as I do.
I sit in the den and try to warm up a bit...

I followed Fire into the den, ears perked, chest heaving. "Are you ok?!?!" I whined, drawing her into a tight hug, wrapping my tail around hers

I look at him, "as long as your with me," I say, sweetly. I lick his nose and curl up with him, keeping warm.

"Thats good.." I sighed gratefully, laying down next to her. "Winter is coming to an end tomorrow, though. This is the month of Spring, when pups and calves and cubs are born.." I said, sniffing the frosty air

I smile at the word pups, I blush wondering if he noticed. I look up at the sky, the sun burning a fire in the sky. "soon all the ice will melt, and..." I cut myself off, not really game to talk about pups.

I notice Fire move her gaze at the word "pups", and I quickly realise what she meant. "So, ummmm...I guess...we should wait a bit...we havent really been...mates for a long time yet.." I say, smiling akwardly

I blush again, knowing he heard me, "uh yeah, right, of course..." I say, lowering my head. I start to thing about what it would be like to have pups and end up daydreaming.
